Okay, upon thinking things through, the Earth thing has become an annoying plot hole that won’t stop bothering me. I’m in great need of reassurance that some stuff about it gets explained in-game. Otherwise… as much as I loved that happy ending and epilogue, it would be quite impossible for me to accept the Earth ending.
Not even going to lie here, the ending made me very uncomfortable and just felt really weird for me. True, it was happy, it just left a huge hole that feels empty and it’s almost like they winged it. It’s uncomfortable for me because to think they went through all that trouble of l'cie, gods, goddesses, fighting their destiny, and then going straight to a world where none of that exists. It just left me feeling empty.
