Ah yes, thank you Square Enix, this is exactly what I wanted in my Final Fantasy. Face it, XIII was a failure when compared with the absurd amount of hype it had. XIII-2, despite numerous improvements, still could not live up to the hype. In LR Square decided to go full fanservice and destroy the little bit of good they managed to create with the previous two installments. Lightning was actually a good protagonist, but now she is basically Toriyama’s sex slave. I was not, am not, and will never be excited for this game and I don’t see how anyone can be unless they outright admit they want it for the sex appeal.
